Merry Christmas from the Project Nyame Nsa Family

Merry Christmas from the Project Nyame Nsa family! December is always such a special month at the Village of Hope. We are creating and establishing traditions with our staff, mothers, and children while cultivating an environment that is fostered around the reason for this season. Our children are joyfully celebrating their third Christmas in their homes at the Village of Hope.

Just as our children eagerly await the joy of Christmas morning and all the surprises it holds, so the world waited in excitement and expectation for the birth of the son of God. This Christmas we are truly grateful for the most perfect gift our Father has ever given us, his son.

We pray that your family will also rejoice with us celebrating the birth of Jesus Christ! Merry Christmas from our family to yours!

“For to us a child is born, to us a son is given, and the government will be on his shoulders. And he will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.” Isaiah 9:6

Project Nyame Nsa Youth Ambassador Receives Prestigious Award

Join us in congratulating Tierney, a Project Nyame Nsa Youth Ambassador on receiving the Sue Link Memorial Scholarship Award! The award is in memory of Sue Link who lost her life due to a negligent driver in 1983.

The scholarship is awarded to a senior in Nassau County who demonstrates high academic achievement, exceptional athletic ability, and overall commitment to excellence. As a Project Nyame Nsa Youth Ambassador, Tierney has shown her commitment to our mission by continuing to raise awareness of vulnerable children in Africa.

Tierney was selected from among all of the Nassau County high school soccer teams and is the second Manhasset player to win the award in 35 years! We’re so proud of this young lady and congratulate her once again on receiving this esteemed honor.
